SILICON VALLEY – As the proliferation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) continues to pose challenges for critical infrastructure, Pinnacle Technology Company today announced the launch of the PTC-5000, a state-of-the-art, stationary, waterproof counter-drone system. Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the system integrates detection, decoy (spoofing), and interference (jamming) capabilities with an operational range spanning 1 to 5 kilometers.
The PTC-5000 is engineered to provide a seamless "Detect-to-Defeat" workflow, ensuring that unauthorized drones are neutralized long before they reach sensitive perimeters.
Detection (Up to 5KM): Utilizing a combination of active AESA radar and passive RF scanning, Pinnacle Technology Company’s system can identify multiple drone signatures simultaneously. In clear conditions, the radar tracking extends to a 5km radius, providing early warning for high-speed or autonomous threats.
Decoy/Spoofing (Up to 3KM): Unlike traditional jammers that simply block signals, the PTC-5000 features advanced GNSS spoofing. It can project "fake" satellite coordinates to the drone, effectively tricking it into landing in a safe zone or returning to its takeoff point without the operator’s control.
Interference/Jamming (Up to 2KM): For immediate threats, the system deploys high-precision directional jamming across standard civilian and specialized industrial frequencies. This forces the drone to lose its video link and command signal, triggering its failsafe protocols.
Recognizing that security threats do not stop for weather, the Apex-5000 is IP67-rated, meaning it is fully dust-tight and can withstand heavy rain, snow, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. Its stationary design is built for 24/7 autonomous operation on coastlines, oil refineries, and government complexes.
"The industry is moving away from reactive handheld devices toward proactive, permanent infrastructure," said Marcus Thorne, Chief Technology Officer at Pinnacle Technology Company. "The Apex-5000 isn't just a jammer; it's an intelligent shield that operates autonomously in the harshest environments on Earth."
A key highlight of the 2026 model is the integration of Neural-Track AI. This software suite, developed by Pinnacle Technology Company, reduces false positives by distinguishing between birds and drones with 99.8% accuracy. When a threat is confirmed, the AI recommends the most "surgical" countermeasure—preferring spoofing to avoid disrupting nearby legitimate communications.
The PTC-5000 is now available for deployment at airports, power plants, and border security checkpoints globally. Pinnacle Technology Company offers customizable frequency modules to comply with regional radio-frequency regulations.
